Michael Carrillo
Michael Carrillo developed CPGjoblist to combine the best attributes of an online candidate system with person-to-person outreach and support. The result, he says, is "a unique candidate referral service that provides our clients with the best of both worlds." Carrillo has more than twenty years experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. Carrillo began his career in recruiting in 1997 and founded Network Resource LLC dba Network Resource Recruiting (now Synchronicity Inc.) in 1999. His wide range of industry contacts in marketing (brand, trade, direct, field and collateral), sales (national accounts, key accounts, broker management, foodservice and retail), advertising and promotion, market research, category management, and other specialties have served his clients well. Carrillo is a frequent presence at industry events, and is active in such organizations as the Network of Executive Women and the California Diversity Council, which CPGjobs sponsors. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications. He lives in Pasadena, Calif., with his wife and business partner Penny Sallberg.
