Penny Wise and Pound Foolish!
I just do not get it. Companies are looking for ways to save money and achieve more value but it seems to be all talk. We are one of the few companies that have an industry specific job board (CPGjoblist.com) , stays in touch with our candidate community and our clients. When I say stay in touch, I mean not just by email or some automated system but by the phone. I mean personal service. It is what our clients want and continue to ask for but they do not want to change the way they partner up. In fact most companies out there on the talent acquisition side or even RPO's do not know the meaning of partnership. Gone are the days where qualitative and quantitative metrics with personal connection meant something. Now it seems to just be quanitative ROI only. And it is impossible to track this. Even the best ATS (applicant tracking system) does not track right. What a shame. Even still I am an optimist and believe that this to will pass.
