For many, many years I have been connecting people with other people or people with their projects, their dreams and what is next for them or me. I do this in my personal and my professional life. Such that I founded a company CPGjoblist , CPGjobs. It is really about "People sharing through cooperation and agreement".
The company is 9 years old and our proven product CPGjoblist is in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. Our hybrid model combines the ease and convenience of online job boards with the effectiveness and full-service support of recruiting firms.
My company is at a tipping point!
Our members and clients continue to search for the "Personal Human Connection"; The connection that is driving the internet social and professional networks (myspace, LinkedIn, Facebook, Ning, etc). But they also want the human connection, the personal relationship that you still need in addition to the online networking.
This is what we do and we strive to do it better as CPGjobs. We actually personally interact with our member community.
I believe we can marry the social and professional networks with the human connection. Our core business CPGjoblist is our jumping off point for evolving to this new model.
We can not do this alone. I am looking for investment partners, companies that may be interested to invest and purchase a part of my company. Companies like LinkedIn, The Ladders or the larger recruiting firms such as Korn Ferry would be good companies. Even a CPG client of ours that would like to own a piece of the company and be able to partner with us in the talent acquisition environment.
We have over 28,000 members and more than 328 clients. The likes of Sara Lee, Miller Brewing, Newell Rubbermaid, Clorox, Tyson Foods and the list goes on. We are known throughout the CPG industry and the goto place by employees, employers and recruiters. Type CPG or CPG jobs in Google and we are right there.
Anyway enough for now. My next post will be about my personal dream of what "Integrated Recruiting" is.
Thank you
Michael Carrillo
